AirPods Charging Case Replacement Cost in the United States
Apple US charges between $59 and $89 for an AirPods charging case out of warranty, from $59 on the AirPods 4 to $89 on the AirPods Pro 3. With AppleCare+ the same repair costs $29. These are Apple's published estimates for 13 models in Apple's AirPods range, effective 8 August 2026, in USD and excluding taxes.

- From $59
- Up to $89
- AppleCare+ from $29
The charging case is priced separately from the earbuds, so a lost or broken case does not mean replacing the whole set. Unlike a single AirPod — where Apple charges the same either way — a lost case usually costs more than a damaged one, so both columns are shown below. AppleCare+ covers a damaged case under its accidental-damage fee but has no loss cover, so a missing case is charged at the price below whether or not cover is active. AirPods Max is absent from this list because it has no charging case.
