What Apple's screen replacement estimate covers
Included
- A cracked, shattered or chipped front screen
- Touch response failure, dead zones or ghost touch
- Display defects such as lines, discolouration or backlight failure
- A genuine Apple display fitted by an Apple-authorised technician
Not included
- Damage to the back glass — that is priced separately
- A bent or dented frame, which moves the repair to the "other damage" tier
- Applicable taxes, which are added on top of the figure shown
If the back glass is cracked as well, ask about the combined screen and back glass estimate — Apple prices that pairing lower than the two repairs booked separately. Screen damage that has also bent the frame is normally re-quoted at the higher "other damage" rate after inspection.
